JCB Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; Chairman and CEO: Takayoshi Futae; hereinafter: JCB) and tance Inc. (Headquarters: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo; President: Kazuhiro Nakai; hereinafter: tance) will launch a campaign targeting merchants for the "Tap on Mobile" payment terminal provided by Japan Card Network Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo; President: Yoshinori Aoki; hereinafter: CARDNET) and the business efficiency services of the service platform "tance mall" operated by tance.

About "Tap on Mobile"

"Tap on Mobile" allows credit card and electronic money contactless payments, as well as QR code (※) and barcode payments, to be used by installing the "Tap on Mobile" application provided by CARDNET on commercially available AndroidTM (※) smartphones and tablets.

As no dedicated payment terminal is required for introduction, merchants can reduce costs and save space compared to conventional methods. It is also portable, making it easy to support cashless payments.

※ QR code is a registered trademark of Denso Wave Inc.

About "tance mall"

This is a service platform that allows services useful for store operations to be used on devices suited to various usage scenarios, from payment terminals to general-purpose tablets. Store operators can select and apply for services from those available on "tance mall" and use them on their desired terminals, solving various challenges faced by stores such as improving customer attraction, increasing operational efficiency, and promoting DX.
