JCB begins integration with USEN's "USEN POS" and "POICHI" point aggregation service for restaurants

JCB Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; Chairman and CEO: Takayoshi Futatsugi; hereinafter: JCB) will begin offering the "POICHI" point aggregation service (hereinafter: POICHI) on "USEN POS," a POS system for restaurants provided by USEN Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo; President: Yasuhiko Kifune; hereinafter: USEN) of the USEN & U-NEXT GROUP.

This integration will enable "USEN POS" affiliated stores to support up to seven types of common points and miles, including "d Point," "V Point," "Ponta Points," "Rakuten Points," "WAON POINT," "ANA Miles," and "JAL Miles" (※).

※This integration is for "USEN POS" affiliated stores and incurs separate fees. Additionally, a contract with JCB is required to handle "POICHI."

About the POICHI Point Aggregation Service

POICHI is a sales promotion support service for JCB affiliated stores that allows for the introduction of up to seven types of common point and mile services in an aggregated manner.

Through POICHI, contracts and settlements for "d Point," "V Point," "Ponta Points," "Rakuten Points," "WAON POINT," "ANA Miles," and "JAL Miles" can be consolidated. Normally, introducing common points requires individual contracts with each operating company and dedicated terminals for each point service. However, by using POICHI, JCB consolidates all points of contact, significantly reducing administrative procedures and installation costs for stores, which is its greatest feature. At the point of sale, all point issuance and usage can be completed with a single payment terminal, and sales deposit management and customer acquisition data can also be managed collectively on the POICHI management screen. This simultaneously achieves efficiency in complex accounting tasks and powerful customer acquisition measures targeting major point members.
