JCB and "ABEMA Sports Time" Collaborate on "From Japan to the World ~Supporting the Aspirations of Challengers~" to be Broadcast in July

JCB Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director, Chairman, President and CEO: Takayoshi Futatsugi, hereinafter: JCB) will broadcast the collaborative project "From Japan to the World ~Supporting the Aspirations of Challengers~ Supported by JCB" on the sports program "ABEMA Sports Time," currently airing on "ABEMA," a new future TV, on July 1, 2026 (Wed.) during the program, and will also release it on the official JCB YouTube channel.

Background of the Project

Athletes aiming for the world from Japan have various "aspirations" that support their challenges, such as gratitude to their families, encouragement from their mentors, and admiration for their seniors. This collaboration will delve into each of these aspirations, look back on their past journeys, and introduce their process of challenging the world. In addition, JCB, which operates Japan's only international card brand, will convey its brand value by supporting the connections between athletes and their loved ones, and their irreplaceable time, expressing it as an "experience that connects aspirations."

Project Details

In this project, professional basketball player Keisei Tominaga, who is challenging the world, will appear. While looking back on his past journey, he will approach the gratitude towards those who supported him and his aspirations to challenge the world from Japan through reunions and conversations with his mentors.

Along with demonstrations of "amazing skills" such as shooting ability that is effective worldwide and the appeal of his play, conversations and episodes from meal settings will be introduced. Through scenes of payment with JCB cards, the experience of connecting gratitude and aspirations to loved ones will be depicted.

Performer Profiles

Keisei Tominaga

Born in Nagoya City, Aichi Prefecture in 2001. Professional basketball player.

After attending Sakuragaoka High School, he moved to the United States and played for Ranger College and the University of Nebraska. With his highly accurate 3-point shooting as a weapon, he excelled as one of the top shooters in college and turned professional in 2024. After playing in the NBA G League, he currently belongs to Levanga Hokkaido. He is a talented shooter of the next generation, also active on the international stage as a member of the Japan national team.

Yasutaka Sakurai

Basketball instructor and coach based in Aichi Prefecture. In addition to managing rental courts and coaching basketball schools at Dinage Aichi, he also works as an MC for 3x3 basketball tournaments.

He is an instructor at the court where Keisei Tominaga practiced since his student days and is one of the mentors who has supported his growth. He is involved in the development of many players through activities that convey the appeal and fun of the sport.
