Global Gateway Advisors Pte. Ltd. Background

Since September 2023, Singapore has mandated third-party verification of academic credentials for Employment Pass (EP) applications, which are issued to foreign executives and professionals. In response, MOM has accredited 12 verification agencies, with GGA being the only Japanese firm accredited since the service’s launch in September 2023, initially serving graduates from Japanese universities.

As Japanese companies diversify their expatriate assignments to Singapore, there is a growing need to verify academic credentials for professionals who graduated from universities outside Japan. To meet this demand, GGA has now obtained a comprehensive license—making it the only Japanese-accredited agency among the 12—to verify degrees from universities globally, significantly expanding its service scope.

Service Expansion Overview

With this expansion, GGA can now issue MOM-recognized verification certificates for graduation documents from universities worldwide, including the United States, Europe, and Asia. This enables clients to complete all academic verification required for EP applications and renewals through GGA, regardless of the graduate’s country of origin.

In addition to academic verification, GGA offers end-to-end support for EP applications and HR labor consulting related to expatriate assignments, providing comprehensive services for talent deployment to Singapore.
