Canon will launch new accessories for digital cameras, the Wireless Remote Controller “BR-E2” (※1) and the Tripod Grip “HG-200TBR” (※1), and a new accessory for RF lenses, the Lens Dust Cap “RF II” (※1), in late June 2026.

Wireless Remote Controller “BR-E2” Enables Intuitive Shooting Operation
This wireless remote controller features a release button and video recording button, as well as a lever and remote function button (※2), enabling intuitive camera operation. By moving the side switch, the lever's function can be quickly switched between zoom, lock, and exposure compensation modes, allowing for smooth operation according to the shooting situation. The zoom function (※3) allows for optical zoom and digital zoom operations, and exposure compensation (※2) enables quick exposure adjustment even when shooting from high positions or during one-person live streaming. Furthermore, by assigning arbitrary camera functions (※3) to the remote function button, settings can be changed instantly even with handheld operation, contributing to improved shooting efficiency.
Tripod Grip “HG-200TBR” Supports Various Shooting Scenes with 3 Styles: Grip, Tripod, and Remote
It can be used in three ways: as a grip, a tripod, and a remote, supporting diverse shooting styles. It also comes with a detachable wireless remote controller “BR-E2”, allowing operation without touching the camera body even when holding it as a grip or fixing it on a tripod, thus supporting various shooting scenes.
RF Lens Dust Cap “RF II” Improves Attachment with 3-Way Mounting
Responding to user feedback, it adopts a structure that allows attachment from three directions, similar to the EF lens dust cap. This improves operability during attachment compared to the RF lens dust cap “RF” (released in October 2018), enabling quick lens changes even in dark or low-visibility environments.
