Brother to Exhibit at the 1st Heatstroke Tech [Osaka]

Brother Industries, Ltd. will exhibit at "Heatstroke Tech [Osaka] - Heatstroke Countermeasure Technology Exhibition -" to be held at Intex Osaka from May 13 (Wednesday) to 15 (Friday), 2026.

Heatstroke Tech - Heatstroke Countermeasure Technology Exhibition - is a new exhibition starting this year. Aiming to solve the social issue of heatstroke countermeasures, products for heatstroke/heat illness prevention, such as air conditioning, dehumidification, heat shielding, and cooling devices, will be exhibited.

At Brother's booth, the new stationary spot cooler "PD-7105" will be exhibited, along with "PD-7100," an official sponsorship product for "Aichi-Nagoya 2026," Asia's largest sports event to be held from September, and "PD-3100," a spot cooler for industrial vehicles. The PD-3100 will be installed on a model forklift, allowing visitors to experience its performance in conditions close to actual use.

With another hot summer expected this year, Brother will appeal to users considering heatstroke prevention and countermeasures by highlighting features such as exhaust hot air-less (※1) for effective heat countermeasures, as well as environmentally friendly aspects like energy saving and fluorine-free operation.

Stylish design that blends into commercial facilities

Compared to the conventional duct-shaped PD-7100 series, which was common for spot coolers, the PD-7105 has been refined into a stylish design that blends into commercial facilities by adopting a louver-shaped air outlet and a dark-colored top part.

Also, compared to many large commercial air coolers, it is compact and can be placed anywhere.

Achieves library-level quietness

While utilizing the powerful airflow of the conventional PD-7100 series, operating noise has been reduced compared to the duct shape.

Furthermore, the noise level at low fan speed is suppressed to 46dB, achieving library-level quietness.

Louver shape that spreads powerful cool air

It can deliver air approximately 4.1℃ lower than the outside temperature to the actual use point (1m from the outlet) (fan speed: medium, outside temperature 35℃/humidity 50%). The louver has an automatic swing angle of 100°*, exceeding the total 80° left and right of the conventional PD-7100S (swing model), allowing powerful cool air to be spread widely.

*Manual adjustment is also possible: up 35°, down 45°

Equipped with Brother's unique cooling technology "TwinAqua."
Unlike heat pump type spot coolers that exhaust hot air ※2, only cool air is delivered.

Contributes to energy saving and carbon neutrality (also common to PD-7105)

Brother's "TwinAqua" evaporative cooling technology significantly reduces power consumption compared to heat pump type spot coolers. Annual CO2 emissions are also reduced by approximately 75% ※4, contributing to carbon neutrality.

Compact product shape

Achieves a compact product shape that can be attached to industrial vehicles in addition to forklifts.

By integrating the water tank, it is now possible to install it in a more space-saving manner.

High energy efficiency

Brother's unique evaporative cooling technology "TwinAqua" achieves a low power consumption of 52W.

The battery consumption rate when operating continuously for 8 hours with an electric forklift battery is only about 2.5% of the battery capacity (for a 48V/400Ah battery capacity). Furthermore, by introducing PD-3100, personal air conditioning can be realized, and calculation results show that a significant reduction in energy can be expected compared to overall air conditioning, contributing to carbon neutrality.
