Kobe Tea Launches New Cold Brew Tea Flavors: Jasmine Tropical and Rooibos Lychee

Kobe Tea is exploring new possibilities for cold brew tea by combining two popular ingredients, caffeine-free rooibos tea and refreshing jasmine tea, with the aromas of tropical fruits. Using its long-cultivated blending expertise, the company has created a refreshing new cup that preserves the natural character of the tea leaves while offering a modern flavor suited to today’s lifestyles. The two limited-edition flavors are Jasmine Tropical and Rooibos Lychee. Jasmine Tropical is a cold brew jasmine tea with the bright aroma of fully ripened tropical fruit. Rooibos Lychee is a cold brew rooibos tea with a mellow taste and sweet lychee fragrance, balancing lingering lychee sweetness with a clean finish. Preparation is simple: place one tea bag in water and wait two to three hours. Because cold brewing suppresses bitterness compared with hot-water extraction, the tea is smooth and easy to drink while bringing out the natural sweetness and clarity of the leaves. The colorful aroma spreading in the glass makes it ideal for a refreshing break during the hot and humid season. Jasmine Tropical is priced at 702 yen including tax and contains 10 tea bags of 4g each. Rooibos Lychee is also priced at 702 yen including tax and contains 10 tea bags of 5g each. With the addition of these two new products, the Cold Brew Tea series now includes five varieties: cold brew black tea in Earl Grey, Shiny Muscat, and Sweet Peach, plus cold brew rooibos tea Rooibos Lychee and cold brew jasmine tea Jasmine Tropical.
