No. 1 seller in the "Tea" category on the Gion Tsujiri official online shop!

About the appeal of "Mizudashi Sencha," which can be brewed deliciously in just 20 minutes, recommended for the summer season.

This tea bag type "Mizudashi Sencha" allows for the extraction of tea leaf components in a short time and is ideal to keep on hand for staying healthy during this season. Due to the tea-making process unique to a long-established tea house, one tea bag can extract thoroughly, resulting in a higher catechin content compared to PET bottles※2, allowing you to enjoy an authentic taste with ease.

Furthermore, while it typically takes 3-4 hours to enjoy regular sencha as a cold brew, Gion Tsujiri's "Mizudashi Sencha" can be brewed deliciously in just 20 minutes, making its ease of use one of the reasons for its popularity.

As an arrangement recipe, mix "Mizudashi Sencha" with honey, lemon juice, and simple syrup, stir well in a glass, and you'll have a refreshing drink with added citrus zest and a hint of sweetness!

It's an excellent choice for unexpected guests, as authentic cold sencha can be made simply by brewing with water.

Regular products are available in sizes from 5g x 7 tea bags (810 yen including tax) to a value pack of 5g x 30 tea bags (2,376 yen including tax).

Why not stay hydrated deliciously this summer by adjusting the capacity to suit your lifestyle, whether for family or for yourself?

About Gion Tsujiri

Delivering the finest tea from the Gion district of Kyoto.

Gion Tsujiri's history dates back to 1860 (Man'en 1).

The business name was "Tsujiri," taken from the founder Tsuji Emon's name,

and began with the manufacturing and sale of Uji tea in Uji Village, Yamashiro Province (present-day Uji City, Kyoto Prefecture).

Later, it was renamed "Gion Tsujiri" to reflect its roots in Kyoto's Gion district.

In addition, Gion Tsujiri, pursuing the essence of tea in line with the times, opened the Japanese tea specialty tea house "Saryo Tsujiri" in 1978. They develop and offer high-quality matcha sweets made with generous amounts of tea.

In October 2023, "Buburu" was launched at Kyoto Station as a new brand specializing in "momicha" (rolled tea) such as gyokuro, sencha, and hojicha.

We aim to deliver moments of "joy" brought by tea to many people.
