On Friday, April 10, 2026, a new color, "Kelp," will be introduced to the company's outdoor bag collection.

They can also be used as lightweight and mobile camera bags by utilizing camera cubes (excluding the Outdoor Sling 2L / 4L).

What is the new outdoor bag color, "Kelp"?

This color was announced in September 2025 as one of Peak Design's four new colors: "Eclipse," "Kelp," "Ibis," and "Ocean."

Previously, the "Kelp" color was available for camera bags, travel bags, camera gear, and packing tools, but it will now also be adopted for outdoor bags.

Outdoor Backpack 45L

A backpack that combines comfort and functionality with a lightweight yet internal frame.

Its beautiful, streamlined design does not sacrifice the various functions needed for outdoor scenes. The roll-top, which can expand the bag's capacity from 34.5L to 45L, abundant pockets, and internal mesh pockets for small items provide high storage capacity. By utilizing optional "packing tools" such as camera cubes (*), packing cubes, and various pouches, you can store everything from clothes and food to camping gear, sports equipment, and photography gear.

The bag's exterior fabric uses "Terra Shell 210D ripstop nylon," a 100% recycled material that offers an excellent balance of lightness and durability, and is weather-resistant. The front and bottom feature a TPU-coated fabric for enhanced water resistance and abrasion resistance. The back panel and shoulder straps use breathable nylon mesh.

An optional "Rainfly 45L" is available for rainy weather.
