GFC Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Kasamatsu-cho, Hashima-gun, Gifu Prefecture; President: Koichi Nishimura), a company engaged in the planning, development, and wholesale of processed food products for commercial use, will hold a regional exhibition at its Fukuoka sales office centered on "Osechi and Hors d'oeuvre Proposals." Unlike traditional exhibitions that merely showcase products, this event is designed as a "participatory exhibition" that realizes everything from problem-solving to commercialization, starting with the voices of the users. The goal is to collect on-site challenges from visitors and collaborate with manufacturers to turn them into concrete, "actually usable" products.

A look at the previous exhibition

Background of the Event

In recent years, the food and lodging industries have faced increasingly apparent challenges, such as: ・Severe labor shortages ・Increased burden of food preparation and plating ・Managing inventory loss

In particular, "Osechi and Hors d'oeuvres" for the year-end sales season represent a significant revenue opportunity, but they also carry high operational burdens and risks, making this an area where "fail-proof proposals" are in high demand.

Given this background, this exhibition focuses on proposals that are not just "sellable," but also "operationally smooth and profitable on-site."

Exhibition Concept

(1) Osechi and Hors d'oeuvre Proposals

As a core proposal directly linked to year-end sales, we will offer "fail-proof" product designs, such as: ・Stable supply and loss reduction through frozen Osechi ・Labor-saving and efficiency improvements through hors d'oeuvre kits

The "hors d'oeuvre kits" in particular are a new initiative where we discuss plating, dishware, and pricing with each customer in advance, providing them in a state ready to be turned into a project immediately.

(2) Breakfast Buffet Proposals

Based on the needs of lodging facilities, we will provide practical menu proposals centered on: ・Labor saving ・Utilization of local ingredients ・Reduction of operational burden

(3) OEM Proposals

With an eye toward product development tailored to individual customer needs, we will promote the realization of OEM development starting from this exhibition.

Benefits for Attendees

・Find concrete menus and products that can be introduced immediately. ・Understand proposal methods that ensure success during the year-end sales season. ・Connect on-site challenges directly to product commercialization. ・Grasp the latest industry trends and practical solutions simultaneously.

Through our lineup of approximately 30,000 items and partnerships with over 1,000 cooperating companies, we achieve a stable supply of high-quality, safe products. Furthermore, our products—which eliminate the hassle of preparation such as peeling vegetables or slicing fish—significantly improve operational efficiency in kitchens. We also stock high-value-added products, including Japan's three great delicacies and rare ingredients from around the world, which have earned high praise from luxury restaurants and specialty shops. Additionally, in response to an aging society, we are focusing on the development of functional foods that consider ease of eating and nutritional value, as required in medical and nursing care settings. As a creator of "food," we will continue to contribute to our customers' smiles and the development of global food culture.
