Getworks Inc. (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Hidenori Nakazawa, hereinafter "Getworks"), in collaboration with GX Technology Inc. (Headquarters: Yuzawa-machi, Niigata Prefecture) and Sanyo Construction Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Tatsuno City, Hyogo Prefecture), has established the "Misawa-no-Mori AI Container Park," a container-type data center closest to New Chitose Airport, in Tomakomai City, Hokkaido. A completion ceremony was held on March 28.

The ceremony was attended by numerous partner companies, including the Mayor of Tomakomai, NTT Docomo Business, Inc. (formerly NTT Communications Corporation), Schneider Electric Japan Co., Ltd., and Hokkaido Electric Power Co., Inc. We pledged to ensure the success of this facility through collaboration with these many partners.

The container-type data center that has now commenced operations is designed to focus on running GPU servers with high computational power for AI services, and is equipped with the latest water-cooling facilities, which will be standard for next-generation server cooling. Maximizing the advantages of Hokkaido's cold climate, we aim for a sustainable DC that maximizes cooling efficiency, significantly reduces power consumption, and lowers CO2 emissions. The "Misawa-no-Mori AI Container Park," which boasts excellent transportation access, being about a 5-minute drive from New Chitose Airport, will serve as a core base, with plans for expansion within the city and throughout Hokkaido. Deliveries and invitations for multiple new sites within Hokkaido have already been decided.

Furthermore, given Tomakomai's thriving logistics industry, the "Misawa-no-Mori AI Container Park," located near the airport, is expected to serve not only Getworks but also as a part of a maintenance hub for storing, verifying, and maintaining spare parts for various equipment and server manufacturers.

The "Misawa-no-Mori AI Container Park" will be a crucial hub in Getworks' long-standing plan for DC decentralization using container-type data centers. In collaboration with NTT Docomo Business, Inc., and utilizing the IOWN APN (service name "docomo business APN Plus") that NTT Docomo Business, Inc. is expanding nationwide, Getworks aims to establish a container-type data center model for watt-bit collaboration by connecting its self-operated bases in Yuzawa-machi, Niigata Prefecture, and Kagoshima.

Since the announcement of our first container-type data center in 2013, our company has continued to develop through various demonstration experiments. Beyond merely constructing data centers in containers, we have collaborated with various local governments on the theme of energy saving and utilization of renewable energy, actively working on diverse renewable energy applications (snow, water, outside air).

We have continued to build various types of facilities to meet the needs of customers and the environment of the installation site (climate, power, etc.). As of January 2026, we have a proven track record of over 300 installations (over 270 units of 20ft, over 30 units of 40ft). We also have delivery records to demanding customers such as major corporations, power utility companies, and hospitals. We can handle everything from site selection to various construction works (civil engineering, power, communication) and application procedures. We also support various subsidies and grants, and the number of customers utilizing these has increased in recent years.

Furthermore, with the increasing demand for AI and high-speed computing, we have a proven track record of installing and operating over 3,000 servers and over 10,000 GPUs. Our complete in-house design and domestic production enable short delivery times and cost reductions, with delivery and operation possible in as little as 10 days from application.
