GiGO EXPO 2026 to Be Held in Akihabara on June 20-21, with Five Advance-Lottery Stage Programs Announced

GENDA GiGO Entertainment Inc. announced that it will hold “GiGO EXPO 2026” at Bell Salle Akihabara 1F and B1F over two days, June 20 and 21, 2026. The event is presented under the theme “The feverish expo begins!” GENDA GiGO Entertainment operates around 420 amusement facilities in Japan under the GiGO Group brand and develops campaigns and projects that reflect customer needs, entertainment news, and IP trends. Following the strong response to last year’s first trial event, “GiGO EXPO ZERO,” the company is launching this year’s event as a full-scale EXPO. The 1F venue, covering about 275 tsubo, will be opened as a free event hall for all visitors, while the expanded B1F area of about 179 tsubo will host stage programs requiring advance lottery reservations, with some paid entries. The venue will feature cross-genre content including games, music, dance, talk sessions, exhibitions, and limited-edition merchandise. Participatory programs such as live shows, VR experiences, and poker will also be available. The event will include exclusive information and major first-time announcements, with some special all-night programs planned as well. As the first wave of information, GiGO has revealed five of the eight stage programs that will require advance lottery reservations. A second announcement, scheduled for May 28, will reveal the remaining three featured stages as well as exhibition booth information from sponsoring companies and organizations. The application period for advance lottery reservations runs from 12:00 on May 15 to 23:59 on May 28, 2026. The eligible stages are: the TV anime “Ramen Akaneko” special talk stage from 11:00 to 11:30 on June 20; the Mugendai Mewtype talk show from 12:30 to 13:30 on June 20; GiGO presents O-MENZ Hyakusen Renma -Ryu- from 16:00 to 17:00 on June 20; the Kaiju Sekai Seifuku × Rosy Chronicle talk and mini-live stage from 13:30 to 14:15 on June 21; and the REAL AKIBA BOYZ special live performance from 17:30 to 18:30 on June 21. The “Ramen Akaneko” special talk stage will feature voice actors Kenjiro Tsuda and Kurumi Orihara, with Naoki Yoshida as MC, and will include discussion about the series along with possible new information and gifts. The Mugendai Mewtype talk show will feature Arare Nakamachi, Nonoka Miyanaga, Ritsu Minetsuki, Miyako Fuji, and Yuno Sengoku. O-MENZ will present a GiGO EXPO-exclusive special live performance and plans to announce upcoming GiGO-exclusive prizes. The Kaiju Sekai Seifuku × Rosy Chronicle stage will combine talk and live performances while introducing special items. REAL AKIBA BOYZ will deliver an exclusive special live performance by the Akihabara-representing otaku dance team, with new information also scheduled to be announced. “GiGO EXPO 2026” is organized by GENDA GiGO Entertainment Inc. with support from Fukuya Co., Ltd. The venue is Bell Salle Akihabara, Sumitomo Fudosan Akihabara Building, 3-12-8 Sotokanda, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo. The event will run from 10:00 to 18:00 on June 20 and from 10:00 to 18:30 on June 21.
