What is "Kasane Teto"?
Kasane Teto is a character with a voice material collection (voice library) that allows her to actually sing, created by volunteers who shared opinions and materials online.
Kasane Teto was created in March 2008 as an April Fool's joke by volunteers on the "News VIP board" of the anonymous forum 2channel, and debuted on the video sharing site Niconico Douga as a "fictional VOCALOID."
Later, through an encounter with the singing voice synthesis tool "UTAU," unique voice materials were created, and she began her journey as a virtual singer capable of singing just like VOCALOID.
Today, many fans continue to create various works such as illustrations, songs, and videos of Kasane Teto every day.
