GEEKS Inc. (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Minato Sonehara; hereinafter referred to as GEEKS) will hold a free seminar for IT engineers and tech leads titled "The Era of Full-Cycle Engineers Becoming the 'Prerequisite' ~Career Strategies in the AI Era~" on July 23, 2026 (Thu) from 19:30 to 21:00.
Background of the Event
GEEKS regularly holds seminars for IT engineers and IT engineer recruitment personnel.
This time, with the theme of "Career Strategies in the AI Era," Mr. Yuki Saito, Development Manager of the Financial Business at BASE, Inc., which develops diverse services in areas such as payments, finance, and e-commerce, will be a speaker. This seminar will feature specific practical examples of the importance of "full-cycle engineers" who are involved in the entire software lifecycle, from planning and requirements definition to operation and review, as well as high-speed development processes with small teams utilizing AI tools such as Claude Code.
We encourage participation from those who are struggling to increase the speed of value delivery despite introducing AI due to the barriers of specialization, those who want to break free from the role of "just building" and resolve business bottlenecks, and development managers and senior engineers who feel a sense of crisis about the declining value of implementation skills and want to know the new roles and career strategies necessary for the coming era.
In the AI era, where development processes are increasingly automated and efficient, it is a powerful weapon for future careers for engineers to have a perspective that oversees the overall optimization of products (full-cycle), rather than just writing code. Through this seminar, we hope to provide an opportunity to rediscover the fun of development brought about by "crossing boundaries" beyond job roles and "ownership," and to grasp the mindset to lead future engineering organizations.
