Aburasoba Sohonten to Reopen Hybrid Stores Inside Four Ichikakuya Locations in the Tokyo Area, Offering Three-Day Limited Aburasoba Deal

Garden Co., Ltd. announced that its Aburasoba Sohonten brand will sequentially reopen hybrid locations using Ichikakuya stores, starting May 19. The participating stores are Ichikakuya Gotanda, Ichikakuya Tsudanuma, Ichikakuya Ikebukuro West Exit, and Ichikakuya Chiba Ekimae. To commemorate the reopenings, the four stores will offer Aburasoba in regular, large, and extra-large sizes for a special price of 680 yen, or 750 yen including tax, for three days from each reopening date. The campaign will run from May 19 to May 21 at the Gotanda and Tsudanuma stores, and from May 21 to May 23 at the Ikebukuro West Exit and Chiba Ekimae stores. By expanding through locations near stations and along daily traffic routes in the Tokyo metropolitan area, the company aims to serve a wide range of occasions, including lunch, after-work meals, post-outing dining, and late-night meals. Aburasoba Sohonten’s signature aburasoba features springy medium-thick noodles developed through repeated research, combined with a special sauce rich in dashi flavor. The standard aburasoba is priced from 810 yen, or 890 yen including tax. Another popular item, Korean seaweed and soft-boiled egg aburasoba, combines the sweetness and saltiness of Korean seaweed with a soft-boiled egg for a mild yet appetizing taste, priced from 919 yen, or 1,010 yen including tax. Alongside the reopenings, the brand will add new toppings and seasonings, including spicy sauce, soft-boiled egg, fried onion, Korean seaweed, bamboo shoots, Parmesan cheese, mentaiko, green onion, diced chashu, salted green onion, as well as Cajun seasoning, curry powder, fish powder, and green laver. The Gotanda store will reopen on May 19, 2026, at 1-14-12 Higashi-Gotanda, Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo, with 45 seats. The Tsudanuma store will reopen the same day at 1-10-48 Tsudanuma, Narashino, Chiba, with 64 seats. The Ikebukuro West Exit store will reopen on May 21, 2026, operate 24 hours daily, and is located at 1-26-5 Nishi-Ikebukuro, Toshima-ku, Tokyo, with 69 seats. The Chiba Ekimae store will reopen on May 21, 2026, at 2-4-16 Fujimi, Chuo-ku, Chiba, with 42 seats. Ichikakuya serves Yokohama-style iekei ramen featuring medium-thick noodles with a focus on wheat aroma and flavor, paired with a rich and creamy pork bone soup.
