GARDE Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President: Kenji Muro), which provides global total services in interior design, consulting, and coordination, has managed the master planning, executive design, and design supervision for "Smith & Wollensky Kuala Lumpur", the first Malaysian branch of the iconic American steakhouse "Smith & Wollensky".

Located inside "Suria KLCC", a representative commercial facility in Kuala Lumpur, this store was born as a new flagship restaurant fusing the brand's tradition with Malaysian cultural elements.

■ Massive Space Design Reinterpreting American Classics
In this project, based on the profound American classic style cultivated by "Smith & Wollensky", the brand's identity color "green" is incorporated as an accent throughout the space. Furthermore, traditional Southeast Asian folded patterns and tropical plant motifs are applied to tiles, wallpapers, and hibiscus-motif block walls. It creates a unique space where American tradition and Malaysian culture naturally blend.

■ A Large-Scale Restaurant Consisting of 4 Zones Spanning Approx. 1,500 sqm
Boasting an area of approximately 1,500 sqm, this store is a massive restaurant composed of four zones tailored to different purposes and scenes.

- Steakhouse
Passing the lobby, a dynamic double-height space welcomes guests. An iconic bar stands at the center, leaving a strong impression as a symbol of the space. Booth seats line the sides, and the second-floor seats overlook the entire steakhouse and bar, providing a design that offers a broad perspective and a sense of unity.
Additionally, four private dining rooms are located in this area. One features an open-counter format, providing a special experience where guests can enjoy their meals while facing the chef. The remaining three are individual rooms themed and named "New York", "Boston", and "Las Vegas". The layout ensures that even repeat customers will not get bored, offering diverse settings for various occasions.

- All Day Dining
An area equipped with cafe and retail functions. Designed as a space for more casual use, ranging from breakfast and high tea to a drink after work.

- Prime Collective (Wine Cellar)
A space equipped with wine cellar functions to support the premium dining experience unique to "Smith & Wollensky".

- Events (Event Hall)
An event space accommodating up to approximately 80 guests. It is intended to be used for luxury fashion brand launch events and as a social gathering place for Kuala Lumpur's affluent demographic.

■ Brand Symbolism in Facade and Flow
The facades facing the interior and exterior of the commercial facility express the tradition and prestige established by "Smith & Wollensky" through a modern wall structure combined with green awnings, bronze details, and iconic lighting fixtures.
From the second-floor seats, guests can overlook the entire steakhouse and bar, a design intended to let them experience the expansiveness and unity of the space.
