Ahead of the Japanese release of 'The Super Mario Galaxy Movie' by Nintendo and Illumination, GapKids announces a collaboration with Universal Products & Experiences. The brand will launch a 14-piece collection for kids and toddlers featuring motifs of characters from the 'Super Mario' franchise, including Mario, Luigi, Peach, Bowser, Yoshi, and Rosalina.

This capsule collection includes graphic T-shirts and hoodies with relaxed silhouettes that can be worn as everyday wear. The price range is between 3,990 and 6,990 JPY. In Japan, sales will sequentially begin on Monday, April 6, 2026, at Gap stores nationwide, the official Gap online store, and ZOZOTOWN. 'The Super Mario Galaxy Movie' will be released in Japan starting Friday, April 24.

As part of Gap's global licensing strategy, this collection partners with the franchise to express the worldview of both Gap and 'The Super Mario Galaxy Movie' through classic, easy-to-wear staple items designed for families.
