"M-1 Grand Prix 2025" Finalist Gōkai Captain's First Starring Program Starts! Broadcast Begins July 4 (Sat) in GAORA's Variety Tradition Slot, Whispered to be a "Promotion Slot"

GAORA SPORTS will broadcast "Gōkai Captain no Yoso wa Yoso, Uchi wa Uchi," the first regular starring program for the currently popular comedy duo Gōkai Captain, starting at 10:30 PM on July 4 (Sat).

GAORA SPORTS has previously aired many popular regular programs in its historical variety show slots, including "Chidori no Bokkē TV!," "Kirin Chidori no Nishōryū TV," "Ginshari no 5up Baby," "Mangeki Hatsushin! BUZZtte Miki!," "Rokudenashi Mitrize," "Longcoatdaddy Nippon no Shachō no Bochibochi Strangers," "Majide Kanjin! Kebita-kun," and "Oshitemae! Double Higashi."

Many of the young comedians who have appeared in these shows have gone on to achieve great success, leading to whispers that this is a "promotion slot." Now, Gōkai Captain will take center stage in this traditional slot as its new face.

Yamashita Gamble Gorilla and Bēyan of Gōkai Captain, finalists of "M-1 Grand Prix 2025" and recipients of the Newcomer Award at the "60th Kamigata Manzai Taishō," are on a meteoric rise. With the program's theme, "In an era where people are constantly concerned about 'others' – social media, public image, common sense – we'll blow away that atmosphere with 'our' comedy!!" they will create unpredictable laughter with their unique worldview and bold projects.

Viewers won't want to miss seeing the duo take on all sorts of genres, including comedy, physical challenges, talk segments, and extensive MCing, in ways they've never experienced before.

Regarding his selection for his first starring program, Yamashita Gamble Gorilla frankly shared his thoughts on the unknown challenge: "I'm not sure what to expect. I feel like we'll do our best with the help of various guests."

Bēyan, who expressed relief after completing the first recording in the traditional GAORA slot, revealed his mindset: "I tried not to think about it too much. I didn't really consider that so many people had done this before. If I think about it too much, I'll just get stiff..."
