GAORA SPORTS, which has been regularly broadcasting exciting matches of the popular professional wrestling organization DRAGONGATE for many years, will broadcast the big match "GOLDEN COLOSSEUM 2026," held at Aichi Prefectural Budokan on Sunday, April 26, in a near-live format (*Near-live: broadcast a few hours after the start of the event).

As DRAGONGATE's "Spring Big Match," an event titled "DEAD or ALIVE" was held every May at Aichi Prefectural Gymnasium, but the Aichi Prefectural Gymnasium closed last year. From this year, the venue has been moved to Aichi Prefectural Budokan, and the event name has been newly titled "GOLDEN COLOSSEUM."

The main event of this tournament is the "Loser Unit Disbandment Mask vs. Hair Cage 6-Way Match." Inside a ring surrounded by a cage, six wrestlers fight to grab flags placed on top of the cage, with wrestlers who obtain a flag exiting one by one. The wrestler who fails to obtain a flag last becomes the loser, and a mask-ripping or hair-cutting is enforced on the spot. Furthermore, the unit to which the loser belongs will be disbanded, making it a harsh rule.

Currently, "PSYPATRA," which is engaged in intense rivalries between units and wrestlers, and the villainous unit "Gajadokuro" (我蛇髑髏), are holding an all-out confrontation in a cage match to settle their dispute. Three wrestlers from PSYPATRA, Shun Skywalker, Homare, and El Cielo, and three wrestlers from Gajadokuro, Madoka Kikuta, Kota Minoura, and Yoshiki Kato, will participate. BIGBOSS Shimizu, who was scheduled to challenge in this cage match, is on long-term absence due to injury, so Madoka Kikuta of Gajadokuro stepped up to participate.

If Shun Skywalker or El Cielo lose, their masks will be ripped off. If any of the other four wrestlers lose, a haircut will be enforced. If Madoka Kikuta loses, BIGBOSS Shimizu's hair will be cut. And either PSYPATRA or Gajadokuro will be disbanded on this day. Attention is focused on the outcome.

The semi-final is the "Open the Twin Gate / Omankata Championship 'Sororyuoh' W Championship Match." This match will be contested for two belts: DRAGONGATE's tag team championship "Open the Twin Gate" and Ryukyu Dragon Pro Wrestling's tag team championship "Omankata Championship 'Sororyuoh'."

The 6th match is the "Open the Brave Gate Championship Match" by junior heavyweight wrestlers weighing under 82kg. This will be the 10th title defense for champion Ryoya Tanaka. Challenging the champion, who is approaching the record of 11 defenses, is U-T, who first won this title at last year's Aichi big match. Can U-T, who is from Nagoya City, stop his momentum in his hometown?

The 5th match is the "Open the Triangle Gate Championship Match," symbolizing units. This will be the first title defense for the champion team Kzy, GuC, and @KEY (Unit: NATURAL VIBES).
