(Tokyo, Shinagawa / President: Tatsuya Minami) will launch the TV anime adaptation of its 'Yuruyuru Zukan' series, which has sold over 1.24 million copies cumulatively. The announcement was made on June 17, 2026.

Since its launch in June 2017, the 'Yuruyuru Zukan' series has followed the concept of 'making even scary creatures enjoyable through cute illustrations and 4-panel manga.' This innovative encyclopedia allows readers to casually explore surprising facts and fun trivia about animals. With its relaxed illustrations and 4-panel comics, anyone can enjoy learning about animal traits and ecosystems. The column pages go beyond mere biology, offering insights into nature conservation and human-animal relationships. Covering classic themes like dangerous creatures and dinosaurs, as well as unique topics rarely seen in other encyclopedias—such as sharks, the Amazon, and even jellyfish and plankton—the series has gained popularity among both children and adults, surpassing 1.24 million copies in cumulative sales as of June 2026.

This charming and entertaining encyclopedia series will now air as a TV anime every Sunday at 7:00 AM starting October 2026, within the 'Ani Mori!' programming block on the TV Tokyo network and its five affiliate stations.

The anime adaptation preserves the original work's charm, presenting a wide array of uniquely characterized creatures in a lively, fast-paced, and easily enjoyable short format.
