3rd Reprint & Over 11,500 Copies Sold! Gakken's 'Shimaenaga Picture Book Encyclopedia' Gets Another Run and a Commemorative Video

Gakken Inc., a group company of Gakken Holdings, has announced the 3rd reprint of the 'Gakken Picture Book Encyclopedia: Shimaenaga Encyclopedia' on April 15, 2026. Originally released on February 5, 2026, the book's total circulation has now reached 11,500 copies. To celebrate the reprint, a cute commemorative video featuring illustrations by the popular creator 'Piyo-techo' has been released on YouTube. Supervised by Keisuke Ueda, President of the Wild Bird Society of Japan, the book combines the charm of a picture book with the educational value of an encyclopedia.
