Gakken Cocofump to Hold Multigenerational Community Marche Events in Kawasaki Takatsu and Fujisawa SST

Gakken Cocofump, a group company of Gakken Holdings, will hold marche events for multigenerational and community exchange on May 16 and 17, 2026, at two mixed-use senior housing facilities it operates: Cocofump Kawasaki Takatsu in Kawasaki, Kanagawa Prefecture, and Cocofump Fujisawa SST in Fujisawa, Kanagawa Prefecture. This year’s event introduces a disaster-prevention tips area where visitors can sample emergency stockpile food and see what goes inside a disaster-preparedness backpack. It will also feature a craft area where participants can make a bag, mask, or pellet drum, as well as a renewed stamp rally. A mini piano concert by a Kawai Music School instructor and new food truck genres will also be offered. On Sunday, May 17, Cocofump Fujisawa SST will host its fourth Wellness Marche. Located in Fujisawa Sustainable Smart Town, the facility functions as a combined hub for health, welfare, and education, with a clinic, pharmacy, licensed nursery school, Gakken classroom, and child development support facility. This year’s event will include warm, community-based programs such as music performances by local circles, spinning top performances, and storytelling sessions. It will also offer hands-on experiences including senior simulation, pharmacy and nurse experiences, and workshops. A stamp rally will be held, with gifts available through a prize drawing for participants who collect stamps. Programs include bread sales, Hawaiian accessories, small goods sales, a Gakken science experiment corner, a children’s pharmacy experience, a mini lamp workshop by CHIGASAKI Lamptei, food trucks, and an outdoor stage.
