The Company launched its life-ending business in October 2024, beginning to offer funeral services under the name 'Gakken Cocofump's Funeral 'Cocorie'.' 'Cocorie' provides comprehensive support from pre-consultation to funeral execution and various post-funeral procedures. To date, the Company has handled over 300 facility funerals, primarily for residents of its elderly housing facilities. By valuing the dignity of the elderly and accompanying them in the final chapter of their lives, the Company utilizes the 'empathetic power' and 'meticulous care' cultivated in medical welfare and nursing care settings to assist in warm and gentle farewells that honor the wishes of the deceased and their families.

This time, the Company has opened a funeral hall where people can have a peaceful final farewell, leveraging its knowledge of elderly support gained through its nursing care business, to expand a seamless support system for farewells after end-of-life care to the community.

Moving forward, the Company will continue to provide life-ending support that respects 'an individual's unique final journey' and accompanies seniors and their families.
