GAAAT Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Taito-ku, Tokyo; Representative: Yusuke Tokuhashi), an art brand that expands the expression and experience of IP content to new dimensions through the power of art and technology, will open an art exhibition commemorating the 50th anniversary of the broadcast of 'Brave Raideen' starting May 14 (Thursday) in Tokyo.
Following the Tokyo exhibition, this exhibition is also scheduled to be held sequentially in Osaka, Fukuoka, and Nagoya.

'Brave Raideen' Reconstructed at its 50th Anniversary Milestone
The theme is "'Reunion' - Fade-in on the 50th Year -". The world view and memories of 'Brave Raideen', which was broadcast in 1976, will be three-dimensionally reconstructed by GAAAT's unique Metal Canvas Art (MCA), delivering an experience of "reunion" with the work.
'Brave Raideen' is a work that had a significant impact on subsequent robot anime, with many impressive elements such as the giant robot "Raideen," the super ancient civilization "Mu Empire," and the "fade-in" boarding sequence. Its unique world view, which fuses mysticism and mechanical design, continues to be supported by many creators and fans today.
In recent years, classic anime from the Showa and Heisei periods have been re-evaluated by younger generations and overseas fans through video streaming and social media. Meanwhile, in the anime IP market, interest in experiential value such as "ownership," "spatial presentation," and "collection" is expanding, not just "viewing."
GAAAT has previously produced Metal Canvas Art (MCA) using domestic and international IPs such as 'Ghost in the Shell: S.A.C.', 'Macross', 'PAC-MAN', and 'ACE COMBAT (TM)', re-editing IP as an "experience of decorating."
In 2026, marking the 50th anniversary of its broadcast, this exhibition reinterprets the mythology, aesthetic beauty, and profound world view of 'Brave Raideen' as contemporary art expression. It re-presents memories of flat video as art pieces with texture, depth, and presence, and will be held as an exhibition and sales event spanning the anime, art, and collectible markets.
