World of Warships' April Update Released Today. Feature-Packed Golden Week Event Pass and Azur Lane 8th Collaboration Coming Soon!

Wargaming announces that the latest update, '15.3', has been implemented today for their hit PC online naval battle action game, 'World of Warships'. This update introduces the German Tier IX destroyer 'ZH-1' with excellent defensive firepower to the Shipyard. Additionally, two types of themed event passes full of rewards will be available, preparations are underway for the eighth wave of the 'Azur Lane' collaboration featuring new ships and commanders, and various improvements to enhance the gaming experience are also being implemented.

Furthermore, it has been announced that 'World of Warships: Legends', previously available on console and mobile, will be released for PC starting May 4th (Monday).

■ German Destroyer "ZH-1" Appears in the Shipyard

The German Tier IX destroyer 'ZH-1', which can be built through 20 shipbuilding phases, has appeared in the 'World of Warships' Shipyard. Based on the real ship of the same name that operated off the coast of France during World War II, the 'ZH-1' is equipped with multiple 120mm turrets, powerful aerial attack capabilities, and versatile torpedoes, allowing it to deliver devastating blows to enemies from unexpected angles, both from above and below.

■ Reward-Packed Golden Week and Coral Sea Battle Event Passes

Update '15.3' for 'World of Warships' also introduces two independent event passes, offering themed rewards across 15 levels, bringing even more enjoyment to players. Players can unlock additional progression paths using doubloons, and by completing both routes, they can unlock extra levels for even more rewards.

The 'Golden Week' event pass includes a themed permanent camouflage, Commander 'Tadashi Sho Katsushi', the Japanese Tier VI premium battleship 'Ise', new enemy destruction effects, and more.

Meanwhile, the 'Coral Sea Battle' event pass offers various progression rewards, including notable historical commanders who participated in the battle that gave it its name – Captain Robert E. Dixon and Captain Shigekazu Shimazaki – as well as the American Tier VI premium destroyer 'Monaghan', and new permanent camouflage.

Additionally, 'World of Warships' will be available on Xbox Game Pass starting Thursday, April 9th. Combat mission chains that grant multiple containers, 1,000 doubloons, and economy bonuses will support the embarkation of new commanders.

■ 'Azur Lane' Returns to 'World of Warships'! Various In-Game Improvements Also Implemented

From Wednesday, April 29, 2026, to Wednesday, June 17, 2026, the eighth wave of the 'Azur Lane' collaboration will be held, bringing more glamorous content to naval battles. This collaboration will feature six new themed ships, themed skins, commanders to lead battles, and commemorative flags indicating allegiance, among other things.

Furthermore, this update also includes several gameplay improvements. Victory points will now be displayed on both in-battle and post-battle interfaces, allowing players to more easily see their actions and contributions to the team.

In addition, adjustments will be made to the Domination mode, the 'Mountain Range' map, and aircraft carriers, aiming to improve the overall gameplay experience.

■ Finally, 'World of Warships: Legends' Arrives on PC!

'World of Warships: Legends' will arrive on PC on Monday, May 4, 2026. Starting from 8:30 PM JST, the action-packed naval battle experience of this title will be available on Steam, the Microsoft Store, and Xbox Game Pass. Players can either start anew or log in with their existing console or mobile account to continue their journey with progress preserved through cross-progression.
