GA Robotics, the official distributor of UBTECH humanoid robots in Japan, announced on June 30, 2026, the domestic availability of three humanoid robot models developed by UBTECH Robotics (Headquarters: Shenzhen, China).

The lineup includes the full-size humanoid "Walker Tienkung DEX" for research and development, the "Walker C1" for commercial services, and the industrial humanoid "Cruzr Y1" for manufacturing and logistics. This allows customers to select the optimal robot for their needs, from research sites to customer service, guidance, transportation, and sorting.

Simultaneous Launch of Three Application-Optimized Models

Amidst societal challenges of labor shortages and the need for increased productivity, expectations for humanoid robots are expanding across a wide range of fields, including R&D, services, and manufacturing/logistics.

However, the required performance and operating environments vary significantly depending on the site.

GA Robotics is now supporting optimal robot utilization for each specific site by simultaneously introducing three models optimized for different applications: a development platform to accelerate physical AI research, a commercial unit for autonomous service operations, and an industrial unit for automating repetitive tasks.

Product Lineup

1. Full-Size Humanoid for R&D: "Walker Tienkung DEX"

This is a full-size humanoid robot, approximately the same height as a human (approx. 169cm). It is designed as a platform for conducting physical AI research that involves the robot thinking and acting autonomously based on its surroundings.

It combines high mobility comparable to humans, a high-performance AI operating on the robot itself, and a development environment widely accessible to developers, accelerating the process from research to practical application.

Key Features

Powerful and agile whole-body coordinated movements similar to humans

The full-size chassis with a 3-axis waist and high-torque joints (up to 400Nm) enable dynamic movements such as running and getting up.

High-performance AI operating on the robot, independent of the cloud

Equipped with NVIDIA Jetson AGX Thor (2070 TOPS), it can run large-scale AI models directly on the robot. It recognizes the surrounding 3D space using multiple sensors, including RGBD cameras, LiDAR, and an AI voice kit.

Development environment open to developers worldwide Includes the top-tier open-source AI models (Thinker, Wow). It provides high-speed communication compatible with ROS 2, SDK/URDF, over 20 sets of real-world operational data, and a simulation environment, reducing R&D time.

Expandable options to suit various applications

Can be flexibly configured with over 5 types of expansion options that can be attached to the main unit, such as a dexterous hand, 6-axis force sensor kit, OCC environmental vision recognition kit, and outdoor satellite navigation kit.

Expected Use Cases

Algorithm development and verification in universities and research institutions, research on industrial and logistics tasks, guidance and reception, security and patrol inspections, etc.

2. Humanoid for Commercial Services: "Walker C1"

This humanoid robot is designed for service environments where interaction with people is key, such as reception, guidance, customer service, and patrols. With a human-like proportion of 164cm in height and weighing 55kg, and 53 axes of joints throughout its body, it offers fluid movements. It can greet visitors, guide them to their destinations, provide customer service and attract crowds at events, and patrol facilities. It can be operated in a manner that matches the atmosphere of various locations, including commercial facilities, hotels, offices, and exhibition halls.

Key Features

Human-like size and natural, fluid movements Equipped with 53 axes of joints, it supports a wide range of movements including walking, running, and dancing, bringing a sense of familiarity and vibrancy to service spaces.

AI brain that sees, hears, understands, and acts autonomously

Utilizes NVIDIA Jetson Thor and multimodal large-scale models. Supports Visual Language Navigation (VLN) and Visual Language Action (VLA), enabling autonomous guidance to destinations and identification/comprehension of objects.

Local processing balances speed and data protection

Major AI processing can be performed on the robot itself, ensuring smooth operation even in locations with unstable network environments. It is designed for safe operation by not sending privacy-related information such as facial and voice data externally.

Safety design for working in human spaces

Employs 27 safety features, including flexible force control, fall protection, an independent safety control chip, and millisecond-level obstacle recognition, supporting operations with reduced contact risk even in crowded areas.

Main Use Cases

Reception and guidance, event and exhibition customer service, patrols, security, and inspections

This industrial humanoid robot is designed for repetitive tasks such as transportation in manufacturing lines and warehouses, loading/unloading of goods, feeding/removing parts from processing machines, and sorting. It is equipped with embodied AI that perceives its surroundings and acts autonomously, prioritizing high reliability, efficiency, flexibility, and ease of implementation. It has been developed with practical on-site use in mind.

Key Features

Dual-arm structure for diverse on-site tasks Equipped with 7-axis arms, each 750mm long, on both sides. It can handle loads up to 10kg with both arms, and its high-precision harmonic drive ensures precise and stable movements.

End-effector tools selectable by application Tools such as grippers for containers, 2-finger grippers, and clamps for cardboard boxes can be easily exchanged without tools (compliant with ISO 9409-1 standard flange).

Waist load tray and vertical lift for enhanced durability

The unique waist load tray distributes the load on the arms during transportation. The main unit can extend vertically, allowing work at heights from the floor up to 1.8m.

Power system supporting continuous operation Operates for over 4 hours continuously with a lithium iron phosphate battery. Battery levels are constantly monitored via the cloud, allowing for a combination of automatic charging, manual charging, and immediate battery swapping.

Reliable obstacle avoidance and centralized cloud management

Uses laser SLAM and cameras (stereo vision) to perceive its surroundings, enabling it to determine its own path even in complex environments. The cloud-based management screen allows for centralized assignment of tasks and scheduling of multiple units.
