Announcement of 'General Affairs Award 2026': An Awards Program for General Affairs. Turning Challenges into Visible Value.

Gekkan Soumu Co., Ltd. (Location: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, Representative Director: Hiroko Usui), publisher of Japan's only magazine dedicated to general affairs, 'Gekkan Soumu', will hold the 'General Affairs Award 2026' to recognize advanced initiatives by general affairs departments. This award is an honors system aimed at promoting the evolution of general affairs and corporate transformation by evaluating management-value-creating activities led by general affairs departments, disseminating them widely to society, and sharing each company's initiatives. Starting this year, the judging process will be divided into two application categories according to company size: the 'Large-scale Division' and the 'Small and Medium-sized Enterprise (SME) Division'. This will allow for evaluations that align with the actual conditions of each company and properly recognize more diverse general affairs initiatives. Furthermore, an online event for applicants will be held on June 1st, the day entry begins. It will be full of hints for applying, including introductions of measures by companies that received the special award last time and talk sessions with the judges.
