Key Topics of the "SDGs Progress Report 2023-2025"
1. Realizing a society where everyone can work with peace of mind Internal System Development: By combining DX promotion for operational efficiency with the expansion of telework, we have made progress in creating an environment where everyone can work without being constrained by location or time, regardless of life stage changes. Safety Measures for Work at Heights: To raise Japan's safety standards for work at heights to global levels (EN standards: compliant with European safety standards), we are promoting the adoption of permanent fall prevention systems. As of the end of 2025, a cumulative total of 607 installations were completed, achieving a 60% completion rate against the 2030 goal (1,000 locations).
2. Realizing a society where everyone can live comfortably Providing Products and Information: We focused on delivering "information that addresses women's concerns and expands self-care options." In 2024, we expanded our product line to address issues at each of a woman's life stages, with absorbent pads for light incontinence, and in 2025, with tampons and multi-functional cosmetics. Hosting Femtech Promotion Events: In collaboration with partners in regional cities nationwide, we held new events in Hiroshima, Kanagawa, and Saitama prefectures. We also supported events in Fukuoka, Miyagi, Aichi, Okinawa, Hokkaido, Ehime, and Gunma prefectures (listed in order of occurrence).
3. Realizing a sound and sustainable society Food Loss Reduction: The number of registered users for "Tabe-Suke," a food loss countermeasure service for local governments, surpassed 110,000, and the annual reduction amount in 2025 reached a record high of 20 tons (cumulative total of 54.2 tons since release). Proper Waste Disposal: "Gomi-Saku," a service that provides free online access to different waste separation dictionaries for each municipality, has reached a 48% household coverage rate nationwide. We are working with local governments to build a circular society.
4. Initiatives pursued outside of goal setting Global Expansion: We have also begun to tackle overseas challenges, such as a project to popularize the non-electric domestic wastewater purification system (DMR) in India and support for sustainable onshore aquaculture in Vietnam.
