Run for Children! Tokyo Legacy Half Marathon 2026 Charity Donations and Charity Runner Recruitment!

Friends Without Borders JAPAN (hereinafter 'Friends') is a recipient organization of the Tokyo Marathon Foundation's CHARITY RUN with HEART. We are recruiting individuals to run as 'Charity Runners' for the Tokyo Legacy Half Marathon 2026 Charity, to be held on Sunday, October 18, 2026, and to support us! Those who donate ¥50,000 or more and wish to do so can participate in the Tokyo Legacy Half Marathon 2026 Charity as charity runners to promote their charitable activities. We invite you to spread the word about the wonderfulness of charitable activities and liven up the event through your participation! There are two ways to support and cheer for Friends: 1) Run and Cheer! As a donor and charity runner. 2) Cheer with a Donation. Your donations will be used as funds to provide appropriate medical care to children requiring hospitalization at Lao Friends Children's Hospital (LFHC), which we established and operate in Laos. We kindly ask for your support so that appropriate medical care can be provided to as many children as possible. 1) Run and Cheer! As a donor and charity runner. About Friends Without Borders JAPAN: Friends Without Borders JAPAN is an organization that provides pediatric medical support to children in Asia, mainly in Laos and Cambodia. With 'Medical Care, Education, and Prevention' as its core activities, it aims to achieve 'localization' (transfer to local staff) so that medical care can be provided by local staff in the future. As its first project, it established Angkor Hospital for Children (AHC) in Siem Reap, Cambodia, in 1999. It was localized in its 14th year of operation in 2013. In 2013, its main activities shifted to Laos, and it is currently operating Lao Friends Children's Hospital (LFHC), established and opened in Luang Prabang, Laos, in 2015. Friends Without Borders JAPAN is certified as a Designated Non-Profit Organization by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government.
