(Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President: Sota Yamaguchi, hereinafter "Asuka Pharmaceutical"), has made an additional investment in Dioseve Inc. (Headquarters: Koto-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Kazuma Kishida, hereinafter "Dioseve"), a company working on the development of reproductive regenerative medicine using iPS cell-derived eggs.

◆About the Investee Company

Dioseve is a startup with the mission "To provide new options for all lives," aiming for the social implementation of reproductive regenerative medicine using iPS cells. Current infertility treatments face serious challenges, including high physical and economic burdens on patients, and still low success rates. The company has developed a proprietary technology to produce ovarian cells (granulosa cells) that promote the maturation of eggs from iPS cells, centered around its culture product (DIOS-101). This product is expected to improve the success rate of in vitro fertilization by maturing immature eggs, which were previously difficult to use in treatment.

Concurrently, the company is advancing the development of this technology as a means to significantly reduce hormone administration and the number of hospital visits, thereby greatly alleviating the burden on patients. Dioseve aims for early commercialization in Japan and the United States as a new standard for infertility treatment.
