Cover of "Parade of Six Planets" (with obi)
This work depicts a decade in the lives of Tatsuya Seo, who garners attention at school, and Ai Yoshikawa, who struggles with being compared to her accomplished older sister. They are drawn to each other, but their destinies are tossed about by fate after a certain accident.
Triggered by a traffic accident, they find themselves in the positions of "the brother of the perpetrator" and "the sister of the victim." They are subjected to violence, prank calls, online lynching, and pressure from their families, and their individual lives begin to go wildly off course.
Why did the model student older sister ride on a delinquent's motorcycle? On the night when six planets align, what answer did the two arrive at?
This is a book to be read on a summer night, coinciding with the celestial show occurring in August 2026.
"Parade of Six Planets"
<Synopsis>
Ten years lived as "the brother of the perpetrator" who caused a traffic accident and "the sister of the victim" who died in the accident. Tatsuya Seo, who gained attention at school, including making the soccer team in his first year of high school, has his life darkened by the accident his younger brother caused. The public's perception changes drastically. Violence, prank calls, and online lynching continue even after high school graduation. Meanwhile, Ai Yoshikawa, who was the school's idol, talented and beautiful, is burdened by suffering after her older sister's death, as she is expected to fill her sister's shoes. Why did the model student older sister ride on a delinquent's motorcycle in the first place? A moving story depicting the emotional bond between "two special people" tossed by fate.
<Author Profile>
El Natsuki

<Comment from Author El Natsuki> I wrote about two people torn apart by fate for ten years, like Orihime and Hikoboshi.
It is a story of two people who meet, part, reunite, and separate again, and who cannot be together no matter what, yet continue to think of each other.
Will a miracle visit this love, like the night when six planets align? Please witness it.
<Comment from Astronaut Soichi Noguchi> Lovers are attracted to each other like planets, they wander, and just when they seem to get closer, they drift apart.
Repeating encounters and rejections countless times, while their hearts are worn away.
Still, they should be able to find true love among the countless stars someday.
<Comment from Koji Tsumura, Associate Professor and Astronomer at Tohoku University> Bright planets move differently from other stars in the celestial sphere.
Also, planets orbiting the sun meet at regular intervals.
This work is a story where the conjunctions of characters, like planets, overlap with the night of the parade of six planets in the summer of 2026.
