Author: Shuji Terayama (Terayama Shuji)
Born in Aomori Prefecture in 1935. In 1954, he received a special award in the Tanka Research Newcomer Award for "Chekhov Festival." While enrolled in the Faculty of Education at Waseda University, he developed nephrosis and spent four years recuperating, after which he formed the theater company, Experimental Laboratory "Tenjo Sajiki." While active as a playwright and director, he also demonstrated talent in various fields such as film director, poetry, novels, criticism, commentary, and popular songs. He passed away in May 1983 at the age of 47 due to sepsis.

Joined Toei Animation and participated in various animation series. After leaving Toei Animation and becoming independent, he has been active in various fields such as animation director, original creator, scriptwriter, novelist, manga original creator, and music producer.
