'ANOMALITH' Releasing October 29! Pre-orders Start Today, May 22

FuRyu Corporation (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo, President: Masahito Enomoto, hereinafter 'FuRyu') announced the worldwide premiere of its entirely new original game software 'ANOMALITH' for PlayStation®5, Nintendo Switch™ 2, and Steam® at the 'Six One Indie Showcase', an event introducing fascinating games from around the world. The release date has been set for Thursday, October 29, 2026. Pre-orders for physical and digital editions for PlayStation®5 and Nintendo Switch™ 2 also began today, Friday, May 22.

Furthermore, the company plans to hold a campaign offering pre-order bonuses in collaboration with the 'Lost Property Control Organization', free DLC collaborating with other FuRyu game titles, and a special web broadcast featuring the voice cast.

'ANOMALITH' is a survival TPS (Third-Person Shooter) game set in a Showa-retro atmosphere in Japan, where players investigate and explore 'Ikai' (Anomalous World), a suddenly occurring special space reminiscent of a liminal space. A young girl steps into a world swarming with anomalies to search for her friend who was swallowed by the 'Ikai' and went missing, and to unravel the mystery of the unique power that has awakened within her.

In battle, players will annihilate enemies with various characteristics by utilizing gun action with firearms that can be freely customized to fit their combat style, alongside 'Anomaly Skills', a unique power integrating offense and defense. Moreover, as players delve deeper into the 'Ikai', they can collect investigation reports regarding anomalous phenomena and foreign objects, or experience the background and relationships of the characters through side missions, enjoying the thrill of exploration beyond just combat.

Centering on the thrill of anomalous phenomenon horror and survival TPS, the game portrays a young girl surviving in a harsh world while confronting her mutating powers. This completely new title from FuRyu is currently in active development. Please look forward to further updates.

Showa year ██. Japan.

'Ikai', a special space that occurs without warning.

17-year-old 'Reona Minazuki' becomes an investigator for the 'Hazardous Zone Countermeasure Office' established by the government,

in order to find her friend who went missing in the 'Ikai'.

During her first investigation mission, while many investigators fall victim,

a unique power manifests within her.

Surviving, she steps into the abyss of the 'Ikai'.

The whereabouts of her missing friend, the cause of the 'Ikai', the mystery of her unique power.

When all of these are revealed, what will she witness――――

Reona Minazuki

The protagonist of this work and an investigator for the Hazardous Zone Countermeasure Office.

Escaping a poor family environment, she lived on the streets when she met 'Arisa Kato'. Though born and raised differently, they surprisingly hit it off, making her Reona's one and only friend.

One day, while visiting a department store together, they get caught in an anomalous phenomenon and are separated. After surviving the 'Ikai' due to '██', Reona becomes an investigator for the Hazardous Zone Countermeasure Office to search for Arisa, voluntarily stepping into the 'Ikai'.

Arisa Kato

Reona's best friend.

A student at a prestigious school, living a life completely opposite to Reona's, but they feel comfortable with each other and often hung out together.

The department store she visited with Reona turned into an anomaly, and her whereabouts have been unknown since.

Yuiga Koda

A communication operator for the Hazardous Zone Countermeasure Office.

She was injured on her first mission as an investigator and stepped back from the front lines.

Her skills as an operator are solid, providing accurate support as Reona's good partner.

The founder and director of the Hazardous Zone Countermeasure Office.

A personification of calm and collected rationality. A highly capable individual who rose from a disposable investigator to the director.

Before becoming an investigator, she wandered the 'Ikai' for a long time and managed to find the exit and survive on her own.

Imari Fushimi

The chief researcher of the Hazardous Zone Countermeasure Office.

She is in charge of research and equipment development using foreign objects found in the 'Ikai'.

She has a mild and carefree personality but possesses a mad side, enjoying the research of anomalies fully aware of the adverse effects on the body.
