Furuno Electric Participates in 'FISHING CAMP 2026' to Engage Fishing and Outdoor Enthusiasts Nationwide

Furuno Electric Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Nishinomiya, Hyogo; President: Yukio Furuno) will participate in 'FISHING CAMP 2026' on Sunday, May 10, 2026, at Tokyo Yumenoshima Marina (Koto-ku, Tokyo). This participation is part of its 'Sea to the Future Project,' a sustainability initiative. Organized by the Japan Game Fish Association (JGFA), FISHING CAMP 2026 is an event where everyone from children to adults can learn about and experience the joy of fishing, the sea, and fish. The event features booth exhibitions by outdoor manufacturers, seminars by experts, cruiser displays, and casting sessions. For families, there will be activities like 'Paper Fish Catching' and 'Deep Sea Fish Touching.' Furuno Electric will host the 'World's Funniest Fish Quiz Show' with its official ambassador, 'Kawachan.' The theme is 'If children grow to love fish, the future sea will be rich.' Participants can learn about marine environmental issues while having fun. Correct answers will be rewarded with prizes. The show will run twice: 12:00–12:50 and 2:20–3:10 PM at the Special Stage. Furuno Electric, which commercialized the world's first fish finder in 1948, aims to protect the ocean for the future by sharing its charm with the younger generation.
