Popular TL Manga 'Love at 35? No Way!' from Lovekyun Comic Gets TV Drama Adaptation; Hideo Ishigaki and Mari Iriki to Star, Premiering July 6, 2026

Mobile Media Research, a manga publisher operated by Funguild Inc. (Headquarters: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo; President: Yomoko Umeki), has decided to produce a TV drama adaptation of the hit series 'Love at 35? No Way!', which is distributed on its TL label 'Lovekyun Comic'. Broadcasting will begin on TOKYO MX on Monday, July 6, 2026, at 25:05 AM, with exclusive distribution on DMM TV.

<Synopsis>

At this age, she doesn't expect fairy tales from men. Mariko Kimoto, 35, single. Freelance writer. She hits it off with the owner of a small restaurant she stumbles into, Morihara-san, and ends up spending a night of passion for the first time in a while. Naturally, she has no energy for a romance with a chance encounter and intends to make it a one-night memory.

But then, she meets him again at a work assignment --!?

This work was created with the feeling of wanting to convey an ordinary, trivial little love and daily life as someone's story that is actually the only one of its kind.

We had the two very beautiful people, Hideo Ishigaki and Mari Iriki, portray that 'ordinary yet unique' love.

No matter the era, people fall in love and grow older. And I think that is special for everyone. This could be the viewer's story, or perhaps a friend's story.

I am deeply grateful to share the joy of people meeting and connecting with readers, viewers, and everyone involved in the drama production.

Also, thank you to producer Ito for launching this wonderful project.

I hope that through the drama, many delightful moments of this love reach everyone...!
