Funabashiya Co., Ltd. (Location: Koto-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Kyoko Kamiyama), a manufacturer and seller of kuzumochi and anmitsu, will offer four seasonal limited-edition products with a wisteria theme—'Walk-around Kuzumochi Cup (Wisteria)', 'Tenjin Fuji Anmitsu', 'Fuji Oshiruko'—in addition to a new product, 'Kuzumochi Lactic Acid Bacteria Wisteria Soda', starting Saturday, April 4, 2026, to coincide with the Kameido Tenjin Wisteria Festival.

What is the Kameido Tenjin Wisteria Festival? Kameido Tenjin Shrine is known as "Tokyo's best wisteria spot" and is a popular spring destination that attracts many visitors every year. More than 50 wisteria plants bloom within the shrine grounds, and they are lit up at night, allowing visitors to enjoy different expressions of wisteria day and night. Funabashiya was founded in 1805 (Bunka 2) within the grounds of Kameido Tenjin Shrine. For over 220 years since then, it has walked alongside this community. During the Wisteria Festival, a temporary store will be set up within the grounds of Kameido Tenjin Shrine, selling sweets such as kuzumochi and anmitsu. This will be an opportunity to enjoy Funabashiya's wagashi while admiring the wisteria flowers. *Kameido Tenjin Shrine Store Opening period: Scheduled from Saturday, April 4, 2026, to Wednesday, May 6, 2026
