Fullerene Inc. appoints Yuki Mukasa as CTO

Fullerene Inc. (Head Office: Minato-ku, Tokyo, Representatives: Takumi Yura, Takuma Sakamoto, hereinafter "the Company") is pleased to announce that Yuki Mukasa has been appointed as CTO (Chief Technology Officer).

The Company's mission is to "structure the highest level of professional services through the power of technology, and realize the improvement of corporate value by linking business, capital, and organization." To this end, we support companies' critical decision-making and execution by providing strategic consulting, M&A advisory, human resources introduction, and AI enablement.

In recent years, with the evolution of technology such as generative AI, the nature of high-level professional services in areas like corporate planning, M&A, and human resources/organizational transformation is undergoing a major turning point. Since its founding, the Company has viewed AI not merely as a tool for operational efficiency, but as a foundation for enhancing the accuracy of judgments and execution that should be handled by human intellect, and has been working to build an AI-native business foundation.

Background of CTO Appointment

Currently, the Company is advancing initiatives to thoroughly verbalize the knowledge gained by professionals in high-difficulty projects and the actions of highly-rated advisors, and reflect it in an AI-native operational foundation, with the generative AI platform "FULLERENE HUB" at its core. In the M&A domain, we are achieving automation of matching and sophistication of deal management through AI-powered market/competitor analysis, long list creation, extraction of past similar deals, synergy verification, approach automation, and DD automation. Furthermore, by connecting M&A Hub (CRM/SFA), Data Foundation, and Output Factory, we aim to realize an "AI Deal Workforce" in the future, where AI agents will support deal progression, suggest next actions, and assist with document generation and updates.

In the human resources domain, we are also advancing the use of AI by creating databases of candidate pools, primarily in the finance and consulting sectors, and information from both client companies and candidates. This allows us to enhance customer management, accurately match candidates and job openings, improve the precision of process design, and increase the efficiency of agent operations.

It is a fundamental prerequisite that valuable information entrusted to us by clients is handled appropriately in accordance with laws and regulations.

Mukasa has led system development in the SaaS, data infrastructure, and payment domains for over 10 years as a software engineer. As a freelancer, he led the launch of multiple SaaS products, consistently handling everything from requirements definition to design, implementation, operation, and the establishment of development organizations. Subsequently, at Mercari/Merpay, as a software engineer and tech lead, he drove the company-wide deployment of the corporate account infrastructure and the design and operation of payment and account infrastructure for tens of millions of users. He joined our company in November 2025 and has been leading the development of AI products and internal/external AI utilization platforms.

As CTO, Mukasa will promote the development of a technology infrastructure that structures the knowledge and practical processes accumulated in strategic consulting, M&A, and human resources domains through AI and software, contributing not only to internal productivity improvement but also to strengthening the corporate planning, M&A functions, and human resources/organizational functions of client companies.

With this CTO appointment, the Company will further accelerate the implementation of technology towards the democratization of professional services.

In the human resources domain, by structuring candidate, client, job opening, and contact history, we aim to achieve both advanced customer management and efficient agent operations, thereby realizing accurate matching without omissions and higher quality career support.
