Fukusuke Farm: Sanda City | June 7 (Sun) Event! "This is how rice is made!" Parent-Child Muddy Farming Experience + Food Education Event

Fukusuke Farm, a nature-rich farm in Sanda City, Hyogo Prefecture, will host a parent-child agricultural experience event, "Sanda Rice Rice Planting Experience + Food Education," on Sunday, June 7, 2026. (Organized by Sanda Shokuraku Kenkyukai, supported by Sanda City Board of Education).

This popular event allows participants to enter the rice paddies under the blue sky, experience traditional hand-planting, and enjoy a farm meal together.

The experience of planting seedlings while getting muddy will create special memories for children. They can enjoy playing freely in nature and feel the joy of "growing" as well as "eating."

In recent years, as children have fewer opportunities to interact with nature, we organized this project with the desire for them to feel closer to food and agriculture through "authentic experiences."

Staff will support the event so that even children can participate with peace of mind. Families who are "new to rice paddies" can also feel free to join.

Please come and experience what the mud in the rice paddies feels like and how rice is made.

In addition to the rice planting experience, the "lunchtime after the experience" is another major attraction.

We offer a "farm meal" to enjoy in nature. After working hard planting rice, you can relax with family and friends while enjoying an onigiri-making experience, a special bento, and tonjiru soup.

Especially the onigiri you make yourself tastes even more delicious after the rice planting experience, making it a special flavor. It has been well-received as an event that leads to food education.

Eating self-made onigiri under the blue sky naturally leads to a food education experience where you feel "gratitude for eating" and "appreciation for rice."
