The Fukuoka Prefecture Sports Promotion Foundation (Location: Fukuoka City, Fukuoka Prefecture; Chairman: Matsuji Nishimura; hereinafter Fukuoka Prefecture Sports Promotion Foundation) has started accepting crowdfunding applications on its website "FUKUOKA SPORTS" for the holding of "Hyojin no Ran 2026 Fukuoka."

Yesterday's enthusiasm, returning to Fukuoka
In 2025, the 3on3 ice hockey event "Hyojin no Ran" was held for the first time in Fukuoka. Japan's top-level players gathered, and the venue was filled with great enthusiasm due to the speed and intensity of the 3on3 format, which is different from regular matches. The intense play unfolding right before your eyes at the rink, the closeness between the players and fans, and the atmosphere where the entire venue becomes one. Many people came to the venue, and we received many comments like, "This is my first time seeing such an ice hockey event" and "I definitely want it to be held again next year."

And now, 2026. Hyojin no Ran will be held in Fukuoka again.

What Hyojin no Ran aims for
The concept of Hyojin no Ran is "Everyone is a protagonist, everyone is serious." Not only the players on the rink, but also the fans cheering at the venue, the staff supporting the event, and everyone supporting this project. Everyone involved in Hyojin no Ran is the protagonist of this stage. We want to create a space where everyone takes their own role seriously. Through this event, we want to connect to a future where:
- More people know the appeal of ice hockey
- A place is created where people gather and connect through sports
- A culture where ice hockey is felt to be familiar is expanded
- Opportunities to experience top-level play up close are created
- New ways to enjoy ice hockey are expanded

Highlights of Hyojin no Ran
Hyojin no Ran is held in a 3on3 format (3 players vs 3 players, excluding the goalkeeper), which is different from regular matches. Precisely because there are fewer people, it develops into matches where even those watching will spontaneously call out, such as "speedy offense and defense," "chances and pinches born one after another," and "an exchange of skills rarely seen."
Furthermore, this year, teams will be organized through a draft meeting by 4 captains. The new teams created by the draft, unexpected combinations, and the players' serious fighting. Special matches that can only be seen at Hyojin no Ran will be held in Fukuoka. For those who haven't seen the draft meeting scenes yet, you can watch them from below.

Why conduct crowdfunding?
Hyojin no Ran is still a new event. To hold this event in a better form and deliver the appeal of ice hockey to many people, we will use it for expenses such as tournament operation costs, venue production, video production, and fan participation projects. Your support will be a great force in creating the event. We sincerely look forward to your warm support.

This event is something we make together
Hyojin no Ran is not just an event for players. Everyone who supports us is also a "comrade" and "protagonist" who creates this event. We would be happy if you could build a new ice hockey event with us.

Finally
Hyojin no Ran is a challenge to create a new sports culture from the Fukuoka rink. We want to make this event a sports event that continues every year. And someday, we want to make it an existence where "Hyojin no Ran becomes Japan's new ice hockey culture." We would be happy if you could create this challenge with us. Thank you very much for your warm support.

About crowdfunding operated by a public interest incorporated foundation
Funds required for activities are essential for engaging in sports in earnest. The Fukuoka Prefecture Sports Promotion Foundation operates its own platform to reduce the expenses related to the operation of crowdfunding and to ensure that as much funds as possible go to the solicitors. We believe that by creating a place for interaction between athletes and supporting fans, the base of sports will expand. Unlike private platforms, it is characterized by no commission (*conditions such as being a non-profit activity by athletes active in Fukuoka Prefecture, etc.).

About "FUKUOKA SPORTS"
It is a participatory web media where sports teams and athletes involved with Fukuoka Prefecture can register and disseminate information, regardless of whether they are professional or amateur, adult or child. Anyone can participate, from team introductions to event announcements and information on live streaming of matches. It is rare nationwide for a sports foundation to operate a media in which citizens participate.

About Fukuoka Prefecture Sports Promotion Foundation
The Fukuoka Prefecture Sports Promotion Foundation was established by Fukuoka Prefecture on September 1, 2020, with the aim of contributing to the promotion of sports in Fukuoka Prefecture and regional revitalization through sports. We are promoting business with three pillars: "supporting the activities of top athletes," "promoting fan engagement," and "communicating the appeal of sports" for (1) fostering top athletes associated with Fukuoka Prefecture and (2) attracting and holding large-scale sports tournaments, etc.
