Fukuoka City's public-private startup support facility "Fukuoka Growth Next" (located in Daimyo, Chuo-ku, Fukuoka City; hereinafter FGN) has announced the selection of 10 startups for the 2026 "High Growth Program." This value-up program provides hands-on support from experts to companies expected to dramatically increase their enterprise value and become representative startups of Fukuoka City.

The selected companies were awarded certificates by Soichiro Takashima, Mayor of Fukuoka City, at an induction ceremony held at Fukuoka City Hall on Friday, June 5, 2026.

About the High Growth Program

Since fiscal 2024, FGN has operated under the mission of "making Fukuoka City a world-class startup city." It provides support not only to startups residing in FGN but also to startups within the city expected to grow into leading companies representing Fukuoka City.

As part of this support, FGN implements the "High Growth Program (hereinafter HGP)," a selective program offering intensive support to companies expected to dramatically increase their enterprise value. In its third year (fiscal 2026), based on the track record of support over the past two terms and the knowledge gained from working alongside selected companies, the program has evolved into a value-up program that continuously enhances the core business value of each company. This year, public applications were accepted in April, and screening was conducted through document submissions and interviews.

In the 2026 HGP, the program first analyzes the current management status and identifies issues to brush up the business plans of each company. To solve the identified management issues, entrepreneurs with IPO experience, top venture capitalists, experts in fields such as HR, finance, and IP, as well as the FGN secretariat, will provide hands-on support.

Going beyond mere advice, experts and the secretariat support practical operations as members of the team, strongly backing the growth of each company based on knowledge and networks backed by practical experience.
