'When I Changed Seats, Apparently the Guy Behind Me Likes Me' is a live-action adaptation of the award-winning novel of the same name by MASHIROITO, which received the Grand Prize in the 1st NOVEMA! BL Short Story Contest. The story follows two high school boys whose relationship begins after a seat rearrangement. With its sensitive portrayal of evolving feelings, awkward yet sincere emotions, and the delicate emotional shifts unique to adolescence, the original novel has garnered widespread acclaim from readers.

Eito KONISHI (KONISHI Eito), a rising actor known for his standout performances in numerous hit productions, plays the role of Haru MAYAMA, an extremely innocent and pure-hearted high school boy. Gennosuke (GENNOSUKE), making his first leading role in a serialized drama, portrays Kohsei ASAMIYA, a popular and straightforward top-tier high school boy. These two talented and expressive young actors co-lead the series, vividly portraying the tender romance between two boys with contrasting personalities.
