[Fuji TV] Popular Youth Love Story BL Comic Live-Action Movie 'Junai Joto!' Exclusive Streaming Starts on FOD on April 27!

FOD, the video distribution service operated by Fuji TV, has started the exclusive distribution of the movie 'Junai Joto!' from midnight on Monday, April 27.

The movie 'Junai Joto!' is a live-action adaptation of the BL comic of the same name by manga artist Nanao. It is a youth love story depicting an awkward and direct romance between the leaders of rival high schools.

The double leads are played by Jutaro Yamanaka (M!LK), a rising actor who has appeared in numerous films and dramas, and Aloha Takamatsu, a member of the 9-member main dancer & back vocal group 'Chotokkyu'. Furthermore, rising young actors including Natsuki Hori (FANTASTICS), Haruto Shiratori, Shoma Arashi, and Shunya Asano support the cast.

The film is directed by Fuga Yaegashi ('Hidamari ga Kikoeru') and the screenplay is by Ryo Kawasaki ('25-ji, Akasaka de'). The delicate direction unique to video and the script that carefully picks up the characters' emotions merge to bring out the charm of the original work more deeply.

Madoka Kamei (Aloha Takamatsu) of Benizakura High School is a big-brother figure respected by everyone. However, after a certain incident, he decided not to fight or fall in love and lived a peaceful life. Amidst this, Mitsuru Sato (Jutaro Yamanaka), the leader of the rival Shiraiwa High School with whom a ceasefire had been promised, suddenly appears, creating tension again.

However, Mitsuru's purpose was to board on the second floor of the candy store run by Madoka's grandmother. Mitsuru is taciturn and mysterious, while Madoka is caring. As they live together, the distance between the two contrasting individuals gradually narrows.

They clash yet feel attracted. They struggle to be honest while their emotions fluctuate. Their straightforward and clumsy relationship, which cannot be contained by the word 'pure love' alone, is carefully depicted.
