Tokyo Bay Ariake Washington Hotel (Koto-ku, Tokyo; General Manager: Yasuyasu Watanabe) will open its extensively renovated lobby on Wednesday, July 15, 2026, unveiling a new space themed as an 'oasis of unusual experience enveloped in rippling water and light.' To enhance convenience for guests attending exhibitions and events at nearby facilities, the hotel has introduced a new 'Packing & Dressing Room' where guests can comfortably organize luggage and change clothes. Additionally, following the success of the 2025 'Yurikamome 30th Anniversary Collaboration Room,' a second limited-time special collaboration room themed as a 'Yurikamome Mini Museum' will launch, featuring a retired train cab for guests to see, touch, and enjoy.

The hotel first opened in June 1999 and has long been a flagship property of WHG Hotels, beloved by domestic and international guests alike. Located just a 3-minute walk from Tokyo Big Sight, Japan’s largest convention center, this renovation aims to deliver an immediate sense of tranquility and sparkle the moment guests step into the hotel—inviting a deep breath and a true escape from the everyday.

This area embodies the core concept of the lobby renovation, evoking the moonlight and sparkling water of Ariake. Soft light and openness fill the soaring atrium, gently relaxing the mind and body. An information desk has been installed to provide details on shuttle buses to the airport and nearby theme parks. Additionally, a new guest-exclusive 'Packing & Dressing Room' allows stress-free luggage organization and changing before check-in or after check-out. At Ariake, the hotel has observed guests attending events at Tokyo Big Sight or visiting from overseas struggling with luggage and outfit changes.
