Tokyo Bay Ariake Washington Hotel (Koto-ku, Tokyo; General Manager: Yasunobu Watanabe) has announced that it will extend the availability of its 'Yurikamome 30th Anniversary Collaboration Room'—a project celebrating the 30th anniversary of the Yurikamome transit line—until May 5, 2026 (Tue/Holiday), due to overwhelming response and difficulty in securing reservations since its launch.

This plan offers a unique 'see, touch, and stay' experience by installing an actual driver's console and seat from a retired Yurikamome train inside a guest room. Since its release, it has received significant attention, particularly from railway enthusiasts and families, with many dates, especially weekends and winter holidays, being fully booked.

Because the Yurikamome line operates automatically, the driver's console is usually covered and rarely seen by the public. This collaboration room allows guests to view the actual console and sit in the driver's seat, fulfilling the dreams of both children and adults. A dedicated DVD monitor has been added in front of the console, playing 'Yurikamome Day & Night' footage to create an immersive experience as if the train were actually in motion. Guests can also enjoy views of the active Yurikamome line, Tokyo Big Sight, and the Tokyo Waterfront City area, with the room decorated with route maps and original merchandise.

From an SDGs perspective, this project promotes coexistence with the local Yurikamome Corporation and supports sustainability through the repurposing of retired train parts. Additionally, guests receive two original pouches made from recycled fibers per room. The hotel remains committed to regional tourism development and sustainable initiatives.

Tokyo Bay Ariake Washington Hotel is located within a 3-minute walk from Ariake Station, Tokyo Big Sight Station (Yurikamome), and Kokusai-tenjijo Station (Rinkai Line). It offers excellent access for both business and leisure, including direct limousine bus service to Haneda and Narita airports. The hotel's 830 functional and comfortable guest rooms are currently undergoing renovations, with full completion scheduled for September 2026.
