Kirara Beach Hino, the event venue, is one of Yamaguchi Prefecture's premier sunset viewing spots and is officially recognized as one of Japan's Top 100 Sunset Spots. Against the backdrop of the Seto Inland Sea and its stunning evening scenery, guests will enjoy a special summer event featuring creative Mediterranean cuisine, live music, hula dance performances, and other sensory-rich experiences. This annual event uniquely blends Sol Poniente's scenic location, gourmet offerings, and performances by local artists into one unforgettable day.

A Seaside Restaurant Transformed into a One-Night Festival Venue

This year's Summer Festa will be held under the theme of 'Japan's Top 100 Sunsets × Creative Mediterranean Cuisine × Live Performances.'

The highlight of the event is the 'Sunset Buffet,' starting at 5:15 PM. Guests can enjoy buffet-style creative Mediterranean dishes crafted by the chef while watching the sun dip below the sea.

The changing colors of the sky at dusk, the refreshing sea breeze, the aroma of food, and live music come together to create a truly unique experience only possible at Sol Poniente.

Guests can relax on the terrace, enjoying both dinner and stage performances. This year, a VIP seating area with only 10 seats available by prior reservation has been added. Located on the second floor, this exclusive space offers panoramic views of the event and features a course meal for a premium experience.

Diverse Stage Performances Featuring Okinawa, Hawaii, and Rock Music Light Up the Summer Night

On the day of the event, four artists will perform live on an outdoor special stage.

At 5:30 PM, 'Niraikanaai,' a group dedicated to sharing the charm of Okinawan music, will take the stage, delivering a performance rich in traditional Okinawan sounds and tropical island vibes.

At 6:10 PM, 'Namase Hivahiva Hula Studio' will present a graceful hula dance performance, inviting guests to experience the culture and healing atmosphere of Hawaii.

At 6:50 PM, the four-member music group 'S.S.S.S,' featuring guitar, drums, bass, and saxophone, will energize the crowd with powerful live music.

Closing the event is Shota Nishihiro, a singer-songwriter from San'yō-Onoda City, and His Band. Their heartfelt performance by a local artist will bring the summer night to an emotional close.

The fusion of seaside ambiance and live music creates an exhilarating festival-like atmosphere, making Summer Festa a unique experience even within a restaurant setting.

Special Lunchtime Event: 'Dessert Buffet' Featuring Homemade Sweets

In addition to the evening program, a special lunchtime event will be offered on the day of Summer Festa.

From 11:00 AM to 3:30 PM, the restaurant will host the popular 'Dessert Buffet.'

Guests can enjoy 60 minutes of all-you-can-eat homemade desserts crafted by Sol Poniente's pastry chef. A wide variety of sweets made with care and high-quality ingredients—including baked goods, cakes, and custards—will be available.

The regular price is 3,000 yen (tax included), but guests who order a meal can enjoy the buffet at a discounted set price of 2,000 yen (tax included).

Café Exclusive: Limited-Time 'Dolcini' Dessert Available on July 11 Only

At the adjoining café Sol Poniente, a special limited-edition dessert called 'Dolcini' will be available exclusively on the day of Summer Festa.

Dolcini is a luxurious summer dessert made with soft serve ice cream and gelato, generously topped with chocolate and fresh fruits.

Two varieties will be offered:

Berry & White Chocolate A vibrant dessert where sweet-tart berries pair perfectly with smooth white chocolate.

Orange & Chocolate Nuts A sophisticated flavor combining the refreshing aroma of orange with rich chocolate.
