Heart-Shaped City of Kitanagoya Celebrates 20th Anniversary with Limited-Edition 'Snack Sandwich W Peach'

Fuji Pan Co., Ltd. (Nagoya City, Aichi Prefecture) will launch a jointly developed product, the 'Snack Sandwich W Peach,' from July 1, 2026 (Wednesday), for a limited period of two months, commemorating the 20th anniversary of Kitanagoya City's establishment as a city. The product is developed in collaboration with Fuji Pan's Nishiharu Plant located in the city.

The packaging features the 20th-anniversary commemorative logo and the slogan 'Dreams expanding, together with this town,' created in collaboration with Nagoya University of Arts. This initiative is part of regional revitalization efforts, with the city, company, and university working together.

As part of its 20th-anniversary project, Kitanagoya City unveiled its official logo and slogan on August 10 (Heart Day). The logo, designed by students from Nagoya University of Arts, symbolizes how dreams and hopes expand through human connections, inspired by the city's heart-shaped geographical layout.

■ Mayor Ota's Endorsement of 'Snack Sandwich W Peach'

Kitanagoya City has a distinctive geographical shape resembling a heart. Inspired by this unique form, the 'Snack Sandwich W Peach' was created using peaches, which resemble hearts in shape and color. The sandwich features white peach cream and white peach jam, offering a refreshing and delightful taste perfect for summer. After tasting, Mayor Koshisuke Ota praised it, saying, 'The refreshing sweetness and light flavor are truly delicious,' giving it high marks.
