Fujikyu Group's Fujisanroku Electric Railway Co., Ltd. (Fujikawaguchiko Town, Minamitsuru District, Yamanashi Prefecture) and Fujikyu Bus Co., Ltd. (Fujikawaguchiko Town, Minamitsuru District, Yamanashi Prefecture) will release the "Mt. Fuji 5th Station Free Pass," a cost-effective and convenient ticket for those traveling to Mt. Fuji by train and bus, for the first time in four years, coinciding with the opening of Mt. Fuji on July 1, 2026 (Wednesday).

The "Mt. Fuji 5th Station Free Pass" is an advantageous ticket that allows unlimited rides for two days on the Fujikyu Line between Otsuki and Kawaguchiko, and on the bus routes connecting Fujisan Station and Kawaguchiko Station to the Mt. Fuji 5th Station (Yoshida Trail) via the Subaru Line. Previously sold at the ticket window of Fujikyu Line Otsuki Station, this year's sales will be exclusively online (web sales), allowing customers to easily purchase tickets in advance on their smartphones or other devices.

Furthermore, as a special benefit for pass holders, presenting the ticket at "Fujikyu Unjokaku," a facility at the Mt. Fuji Subaru Line 5th Station, will grant a 10% discount on shop merchandise and food/drink menus. Additionally, a half-price luggage storage service at Kawaguchiko Station (normally ¥1,200 → ¥600) will be available.

In recent times, with rising gasoline prices and road congestion making travel by private car time-consuming and costly, please take advantage of the "Mt. Fuji 5th Station Free Pass" to travel smoothly and economically using public transportation for your summer Mt. Fuji climb or 5th station sightseeing.
