Fujikikai Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Nagoya, Aichi Prefecture; President: Yuki Ikuta), a company that manufactures and develops automatic packaging machines for food, pharmaceuticals, marine and agricultural products, and industrial and chemical products, launched the "Project to Seriously Consider the Plastic Problem" on October 7, 2025.
This project is composed of a team of volunteer employees from Fujikikai. Over a long period, they will earnestly engage with the issue of "plastic," seriously consider how it should coexist with the environment, including its relationship with their own business, and implement what is possible. This time, they took on the challenge of recycling plastic waste.
Collaboration with REMARE
Plastic is all around us. From home appliances and smartphones to food packaging, its use is widespread due to its convenience, and plastic is used in very many scenes of our daily lives.
The packaging industry also has an aspect of using a lot of plastic materials.
On the other hand, the material recycling of plastics is not progressing well at present.
Therefore, the "Project to Seriously Consider the Plastic Problem" held discussions with "REMARE Inc.," an upcycling company that regenerates waste plastic into a circular resource, and has now achieved a collaboration.

Challenging the Regeneration of Plastic Waste
Through the collaboration with REMARE, the project's first attempt is now underway to give a new form to recycled plastic waste by turning it into a business negotiation table.
This finished recycled product is scheduled to be exhibited and used at the Fujikikai booth at the Chubu Pack event, which will be held from Wednesday, April 22nd to Saturday, April 25th at Port Messe Nagoya. Please come and see the plastic upcycled into REMARE's cute designs.
