### Midsummer Championship Battle "Fuji Double Header"

Following the cancellation of the originally scheduled Round 3 Sepang event, this event will be the "second of two consecutive races at Fuji Speedway," following the previous round.

Returning from the sprint format adopted last year, this event reverts to SUPER GT's original "300km race." Furthermore, the success handicap system, based on series rankings, will be reinstated, making it an all-out midsummer battle where speed, strategy, and durability are all put to the test.

This event, where immediate race data directly impacts victory or defeat, will be the ultimate high-speed rematch where even the slightest mistake is unforgivable. Will teams strong at Fuji make a decisive move for the championship, or will a revenge drama unfold to avenge the previous race? Please pay attention to the intense drama born precisely because it's a double header.

### The Drama of the "Fuji Double Header" that Influences the Championship Battle

#### Review: Round 2 was a dramatic comeback

In Round 2 (3-hour race) in May, the No. 14 ENEOS X PRIME GR Supra led comfortably until the end in GT500. However, the No. 36 au TOM'S GR Supra, carrying 40kg of weight, made a perfect pit strategy comeback to achieve two consecutive opening victories. In GT300, the No. 56 Realize Nissan Mechanic Challenge GT-R secured its first victory of the season with an overwhelming performance, lapping the second-place car and beyond. On the other hand, the No. 61 SUBARU BRZ, which set a qualifying record, retired due to trouble.

#### Preview: The Encirclement of Car No. 36 and a Summer of Revenge

The second race of the "Fuji Double Header," made possible by the cancellation of the Sepang event, will be a 300km sprint format. In GT500, the newly introduced "fueling speed limit" will be applied for the first time to the continuously winning No. 36, presenting a prime opportunity for rivals to make a comeback.

In GT300, the power balance will also change dramatically due to the shortened distance. Teams vowing revenge, such as the No. 61, which retired last time, and the No. 52, which was unlucky, will spark a fierce battle at midsummer Fuji.
