FRONTEO Inc. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President & CEO: Masaaki Morimoto; hereinafter "FRONTEO") announces that the number of registered members on its FLLP (FRONTEO Legal Link Portal; URL: https://legal.fronteo.com/fllp/), Japan's largest membership-based legal video platform, has surpassed 22,000. Approximately 75% of members belong to corporate legal, intellectual property, and compliance departments, and viewing of related videos has increased amid corporate responses to the revised Whistleblower Protection Act and recurring corporate scandals.
FLLP is Japan's largest platform connecting members—including corporate legal, IP, and compliance officers and management leaders—with lawyers and experts. Since its launch in June 2020, the platform has offered diverse video content, including practical explanations of crisis response investigations. As of July 2026, it features approximately 1,090 videos and has hosted around 420 lawyers and experts.
Transforming Tacit Knowledge into Shareable Assets
Knowledge related to corporate crisis responses—such as fraud investigations, cartel responses, and economic security—has traditionally been siloed within individual officers or law firms, making it difficult to transfer across organizations and generations. FLLP has grown into a foundational platform for sharing such practical knowledge beyond corporate boundaries by systematically accumulating and delivering explanatory videos from frontline lawyers and experts.
Key Corporate Legal Topics Revealed by Viewing Data
The three areas that attracted the most attention on FLLP over the past year are:
FLLP is expanding its role as a cross-corporate "learning infrastructure," offering a structured way to learn practical knowledge that is otherwise difficult to accumulate within individual companies through expert video explanations.
- Practical Response to Internal Reporting and the Revised Whistleblower Protection Act
The legal revisions, including strengthened penalties, have made internal system reviews an urgent priority for companies.
- Practical Response to Corporate Scandals such as Harassment
Demand is rising for real-world insights on third-party committee responses, investigation practices, and designing recurrence prevention measures.
- Organizational Culture
As organizational culture is increasingly recognized as a root cause of scandals, interest is expanding into broader management issues beyond compliance.
Partnership Launched with Risk Initiative Community
As part of its initiatives, FRONTEO has begun collaborating with "Risk Initiative Community," a forum for sharing practical knowledge and challenges across corporate boundaries to strengthen and advance risk management. As the first initiative, archived videos from the opening seminar held in January 2026 at the Imperial Hotel (Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo) are now available on FLLP. Going forward, discussions and insights generated within this community will be widely shared with FLLP members.

Comments from a Participating Lawyer
Akira Inoue, Partner, Baker & McKenzie
"I have high expectations for FLLP as a repository of practical knowledge in the AI era. I believe this is the only site in Japan where practical knowledge videos are so systematically organized. I think the media should pay more attention to this.
AI can now process audio data and use it as a basis for analysis. It's highly significant that such information is available online, and FLLP is making a substantial contribution in this regard."
